I am getting error messages when I log into my admin panel of protectedlinks. The messages are:
Warning: strtotime() [function.strtotime]: It is not safe to rely on the system’s timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function
thanks for the information!
A change to the way current time is calculated is needed in the script to be compatible with the latest version of PHP 5.
I will upload an update within 2-3 days and let you know…so that you can download.
Yes please let me know when you get this updated. I have purchased it and would like to get it working as soon as possible.
Has the script been updated yet to support this?
Hi, Will get back shortly with update in 1-2 days.
The simplest solution is to add a line say at line number 5 date_default_timezone_set (‘UTC’); in ProtectedLinks/includes/settings.php
I am using it in a sophisticated way, am working on the update.
I have updated the script to contain a default timezone field in the
settings page. It may take1-2 days for them to approve the update.
You will receive an updated copy soon in your inbox.
